What is your favorite quote?

… although capitalism does in the form of rent. But that’s a price I’m willing to pay.

When the relationship of me and my ex was declining, he wanted us to still live together and have separate bedrooms.

For context, I was unemployed and he wanted to be on his phone all night. He was truly inconsiderate. Despite my lack of employment and funds, I knew I could make it on my own. I’ve done it before him and I did after him.

My home now, and for the past 13 months, is quiet and is peaceful. I pay my rent in advance with no argument. When my rent went up at renewal, it was fine.

I’m not a church goer but I am a believer. I thank Jesus everyday for my blessings and for my bravery. I am happier now than I was when he was disturbing my whole body and my whole nervous system with his phone, his confused spirit, and his Bluetooth speaker.
