I got WAY too excited to talk about food (!!!) that I totally did not read the prompt correctly LOL!

The prompt asked what are your family’s top 3 favorite meals NOT MINES! I’ll have to ask my mom and sister what their favorite meals are…so to be continued! For me, I really enjoy my mom’s red beans and rice. My mom is from New Orleans and red beans and rice is a local speciality. IYKYK.

I scoured my Instagram story archive for a photo to share but it turned out to be a pot of okra my mom made when I was visiting from Las Vegas many moons ago. My mom makes really good okra and coincidentally, okra is what my mom and sister had today for dinner!

Please don’t ask me what I had for dinner today 😩 I’m in my drive-thru and air fryer era. Although I did make carne asada, rice, and black beans last week.
