What’s a chapter of your life you’d title “The Hard Years” — and what got you through it?
My Fiancé character.
The guy was a Gemini on paper and a real life Jekyll and Hyde—and that’s summing him up nicely!
Like Sincere, he wasn’t sincere.
Unlike Sincere, my ex wasn’t a cheater, but like Sincere, he was confused, disingenuous, and would’ve better off being single in order to figure himself out.
Like a lot of people in relationships, my ex cared more about impressing others and not me his partner. Simply put, and like Melanie and that man, we were not compatible.
THANKFULLY, that chapter ended last May. 2025. And I haven’t seen him in exactly one year.
My luck and life IMMEDIATELY got better once we parted ways. I moved into my current place (a lovely loft 💕✨) and I started a new job two days later making more than him! Mind you, I was unemployed our entire relationship—the universe knew I could not balance a job and him, because he was a full-time job in itself!
That chapter and relationship is why I would not wish the wrong person on my worst enemy. And in Melanie’s defense, she’s still young, and the world is her oyster …if, she leaves that man 🙃✨
