If you had the power to change one law, what would it be and why?

If the powers were vested in me, I would change the gun laws in this country.
Yes, I know “gUnS.don’t.Ki!l.people,PeOplE.do.” That is true and is also a stupid defense for not have stricter laws. What purpose does an assault weapon serve a law abiding citizen? If you want to shoot one, ✨great✨, join the damn military! The government wants you!
The american right to own guns isn’t just an issue confined within the U.S. American guns are trafficked to other countries with stricter gun laws, like Mexico, and our guns are killing innocent people in those countries. Nobody talks about that or any issue that really matters. Meanwhile every overly patriotic “I bleed red, white and blue” turd has an opinion about Mexico, its citizens, and its crime. When in reality, a lot of the world’s problems, can be traced back to the good ol’ USA and our vices+entitlements as Americans 😩🇺🇸🦅🥴✨
