For: Me … basicallY

I initially was going to say, “meaningless conversations, time wasted, revisiting the past/worrying about the future” but those are things that annoy me. What’s been boring to me for a while is social media. No one is original.

Everyone is mimicking someone else. Everyone is using the same annoying trending songs in their Instagram reels and on YouTube, everyone is making the same videos about the same subjects.

I joined social media as a way to communicate with friends but those friendships hit their peeks…years ago, plateaued…years ago, and communication dried up…years ago. But still I persist and honestly I don’t know why! Social media shouldn’t be the glue that holds any friendship or relationship together. Nor should it be the reason why I keep enduring the boredom/brain drain that is social media.
